Declaration property MasterSource: TDatasource; // TMySQLDataset/TMySQLTable property DataSource: TDatasource; // TQuery
Description Set this property to any valid datasource available, if this is set it will automatically update the "detail" dataset's $WHERE macro when changes happen to the MasterSource's dataset. See MasterFields for linking dataset columns master-detail.
NOTE: For the TMySQLQuery this property is called DataSource and works exactly like the TQuery.DataSource Borland component property. Thus, the TMySQLQuery will use this datasource specified to populate any macros with values from the current record in the dataset specified by the DataSource.
